Stay the Course

One of the biggest things I’ve learned in business so far is this: patience and consistency are just as important as creativity and strategy.

There have definitely been times in my journey where I’ve doubted the path I was on; especially when trying something new. Sometimes, I’d catch myself thinking, “Is this really working?” "Is this the right move or the right thing?" When results didn’t come as quickly as I hoped, the temptation to change course or scrap the idea entirely would creep in.

But here’s the truth: staying the course matters.

When I feel that doubt begin to surface, I step back and refocus on what truly aligns with me, my Business Identity and my long-term goals. I remind myself why I started the initiative in the first place and lean into consistency. Almost every single time, it pays off. Whether it’s a new strategy, service, or way of showing up for my clients, the results tend to follow when I trust the process and stay true to my focus. This isn’t to say that pivoting or making changes is bad, sometimes it’s necessary! But there’s a difference between making thoughtful adjustments and abandoning a path too soon because of fear or impatience.

Here's my takeaway: consistency builds trust. Not just with clients, but also with yourself. If you’re in a season of doubt right now, I encourage you to pause and ask yourself:

  • Does this align with my mission and values?

  • Have I truly given it enough time and effort to work?

Staying the course doesn’t mean perfection; it means showing up, staying focused, and trusting the bigger picture.
